Pullman Singapore Hill Street to open in October
Set to open its doors on October 1, Pullman Singapore Hill Street is the newest addition to Singapore’s five-star hotels. The 350-room property was developed by EL Development and managed by the French hotel group Accord under the Pullman Hotels & Resorts brand. General Manager Mazen Abilmona reveals that the hotel’s interior design pays homage to George Pullman, the 19th-century American railroad manufacturer whose sleeper trains revolutionised train travel in the United States.
The lobby is an ode to the brand’s illustrious past, with floor-to-ceiling installations of vintage carriers. Furthermore, a reproduction of the classic Pullman sleeping cabin is placed near the entryway for an extra touch of nostalgia. Intending to emulate the private railroad cabins of its namesake, the hotel’s rooms come in Deluxe, Executive and Studio Suite configurations, ranging from 269 to 355 sq ft. Deluxe and Executive units come with a Murphy bed to allow for a flexible use of space. An Executive Suite is also available, combining a Studio Suite and an Executive/Deluxe room with the Murphy bed feature.
Enjoy a dip in the outdoor swimming pool or break a sweat in the gym. There is also an executive lounge and function rooms for events. F&B offerings include American deli-styled eatery Madison’s, poolside Mexican-themed bar El Chido as well as Moga, a modern Japanese Izakaya and cocktail bar set to launch in November.
