Explore the Unique Cuisines & Tastes of Holland Village with Holland Drive Residences
Holland Drive Residences also features several high-end residential units with luxurious amenity options. Residents can enjoy a peaceful and quiet lifestyle with all the convenience of the nearby shopping and dining outlets. It’s an ideal location for working professionals and families alike, as they can get all their amenities and entertainment needs met while living in a safe and serene residential area.
As a food lover, I was delighted to discover the abundance of cafés and dessert outlets along the European-style streets of Holland Village. There coffee and ice-cream are much more affordably priced compared to the likes of Orchard. One of the highlights of this vibrant district is the Holland Drive Residences, a mixed-used development that includes a plethora of retail and F&B outlets. This unique living environment provides the perfect opportunity to sample a variety of international cuisines and delicacies.
A trip to Holland Village promises a distinct atmosphere, with a European vibe running through the area. The architecture and greenery that make up the residential district evoke a feeling of Old World charm. Even more charming is the presence of a windmill, a feature reminiscent of The Netherlands. Expats and locals looking to relax from the hustle and bustle of Singapore city life can be found in Holland Village. Holland Drive Residences, a nearby housing district, provides the perfect location for those looking to enjoy this relaxed atmosphere and lifestyle. With plenty of eateries, bars and boutique shopping outlets to choose from, it can’t be beaten as a great place to spend an afternoon.
The food market may be the main draw for people coming to Holland Village, but night owls will find much to enjoy as well. There are numerous lively bars and late night restaurants in the area, such as Wala Wala, making it a great environment to socialize and get to know fellow expats. From your seat you can take in the fantastic scenery this part of Singapore offers, due to the rare presence of green spaces in close proximity to residential neighborhoods, like Holland Drive Residences.
On a Tuesday afternoon, Holland Village was bustling with locals and expats alike, and one could easily envision the scene of hundreds of people socialising and enjoying a few drinks on the weekends. Besides the lively atmosphere, this village is also known for its unique stores and charming boutiques, which makes shopping quite an enjoyable experience. Holland Drive Residences could be the perfect home away from home for those looking to be in the heart of the action.
An acquaintance at my hotel recommended that I visit Holland Village while I was in Singapore. Although I had been there often, this locale was sadly still foreign to me. Unfortunately, my journey coincided with my laptop breaking down, so I am now trying to work on an iPad mini and it’s quite the novel experience! I did manage to learn about the new Holland Drive Residences that have recently opened up, which looks like an interesting place to check out on my next trip!
